A Meaningful Way to Spend a Day

If you are age 65 or over, the Jewish
Family & Vocational Service can help you
find a volunteer activity. This program,
which is funded by the Retirement
Research Foundation — Volunteers
Investing in People (VIP), is designed to
assist seniors in obtaining meaningful
volunteer experiences. Participants are
matched with activities that allow them to
use their individual skills and talents to
help people in our community.
If you are interested in learning more
about the V.I.P. Program, call Shelley
Kahn at Jewish Family & Vocational
Service at (502) 452-6341 x103 to
identify a volunteer opportunity that is a
good fit with your interests and life
experiences.

Another place to look for local, specific
volunteer opportunities is Metro United
Way. Go to www.metrounitedway.org and
